To the Family and Friends of Officer Moody,
I read the wonderful words written by so many here, and I'm touched by all of this. My heart aches for those of you who have had to say goodbye much too early. Those who devote their lives to protect others and to uphold the law are angels on earth. Many only see the uniform or the squad car. You have known the character of the man. I didn't know Brad Moody, but I feel his loss in my heart. I hope his children will always know that the work their dad did was honorable and he was appreciated far beyond the area in which he worked. Just as in war, he gave his life for his country. As a mom of sons close to his age...and as the wife of an officer, please know that I pray for those of you during this time of loss. God blessed a community through the life of this young man. He gave his all.

I just want to let the Moody Family know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart really goes out to your family. I never knew Brad, however it sounds like he was a wonderful man who worked very hard.
My husband is a Deputy Sheriff with Solano County. Situations like this make it so much harder to know that he is out there. But he is doing what he loves and protecting the ones he loves from all the crime on the streets, as was Officer Moody. Brad you are truly an Angel of God may you Always Rest In Peace, you will be missed but not forgotten.

Brad was one of my clients. He was such a lively young man who had a smile that was infectuous and put everyone at ease. He was a solid police man and a great canine handler. He will be sorely missed by all. My thoughts and prayers to his family and his canine. NB
