The Parks Family Condolences October 8, 2008
We had the pleasure of meeting the Moody family on a few occasions. What wonderful people. Brad and Susan made you feel welcome right away. Our hearts are breaking for you Susan and your beautiful children. I wish I could say or do something to take away your hurt.  You will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

We will all miss an extrodinary officer. I did not know him well, but  I have been at a couple of events where Officer Moody and his dog did presentations.  You could tell he loved what he was doing.  He had an smile for everyone. I will keep his family in my thoughts and know that you will miss him as will those citizens his path crossed. My heart goes out to you.

To our brothers and sisters in blue and to the Moody Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We cannot begin to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Reading the condolences and words of love and respect from each of you, tells me this man, this officer, was a very special person. We wish Bradley God's Speed with his new journey and hope that the RPD and the Moody Family know that we are all thinking about you, each day. To the Moody Family: I've never met any of you but for some reason I felt the need to send my condolences. My dad trained dogs for the New York Police Department when I was a child and maybe that's my connection. Officer Moody died in the line of duty and I'm certain when his children are older many of his fellow officers will tell them all about their special father. God bless each and everyone of you.
Stacey Sutter Martinez Moody Family October 8, 2008

Susan,

My husband is an officer for BART PD and was coming off duty in Richmond the morning of your husbands accident. When he call to tell me and I realized you were his wife I was devestated. I can not begin to express how deeply sorry am for your loss. I have no doubt that your husband was an amazing man and a wonderful father. I also know first hand the strength of your heart and the powerful love of your family. I am sure that your husband is resting peacfully knowing that your girls could not ask for a more devoted and loving mother.

With all our thoughts and prayers,

The Martinez Family

Rick Ball Officer (Lancaster, NH Police) October 7, 2008

To the Moody Family and Richmond PD -

I've lost fellow police officers through my career, but I find comfort in remembering how much good they did for everyone and how lucky I was to share life with them, now matter how brief.  You were very lucky to have Brad.  I hope this comfort finds you too.  My most sincere condolences to you all.
