Cantu-Lopez Family My Son's Partner and Friend October 7, 2008

Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to the family of Officer Brad Moody and RPD family and friends; our family and I met Officer Brad Moody through our son who knew him well; Officer Moody will always be remembered, he touched so many lives.

We wish we could find words to ease your pain, losing a love one is one of the saddest life challenges and words that can give you true comfort are difficult to find.

He will be missed; my son misses him dearly!

Our affectionate respect to you and yours!

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Perlita Cartago Jr. high & High school friend October 7, 2008

My heart and prayers go out to the Moody Family. I went to jr. high and high school with Brad. I was a year ahead of him and I remember when his class finally got to high school. Brad was a charmer with that glowing smile and had a lot of girls chasing him. He and I were fellow athletes, him in football and me in volleyball. He would always come support the girls athletics as much as we did for the guys. Brad was the nicest guy anyone could ever meet. I was just recently told by my younger sister who also graduated from Vanden that she ran into him at the court house and that he was a K-9 Cop with Richmond. I always knew he would grow up to give back to the community. The Lord may have taken him but the memory of him will always be in every heart that Brad has touch. He is now up there protecting us from above with his glowing smile gazing down on us. To his wife and daughters, I pray for you going through this very difficult time and want you to know Brad will always be with you. My prayers are with you, Perlita Cartago

To Susan, the girls and Brad-

I worked briefly with Susan at the RPD Communications Center, and you were always nice to me.  After your first daughter was born I had the pleasure of talking to Brad and he just glowed in happiness.  I was so happy for your family.  Since then I have had a daughter myself and have seen that same glow in my husband's eye with her.  Susan, I cannot imagine what you, your daughters and Brad's family will go through, but you have a lot of people who will help and support you.  I am married to an officer myself and have wondered what I would do if...and as Saeda wrote you will be a strong mother and tell your daughters how great their father was. Brad was a kind and considerate officer who will be greatly missed, but I am sure he is still glowing looking down at your little girls.  You were all truly blessed to have the time you did with Brad.  Our hearts and prayers are with you now and always.

Joe Shinstock Family Friend October 7, 2008

On behalf of my entire family, I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss.  It is very clear that Brad led a good life, and was a role model to many people he came in contact with.  I am saddened most to think of his wife and the two little girls he leaves behind.  I have no idea what it must be like to be in your shoes, but I hope that your loss and pain can be softened knowing that Brad was a hero, and will always be remembered.

Mark Keyes Sergeant / K9 Supervisor October 7, 2008
To the Moody family and the Richmond Police Dept. family, My deepest sympathy on the loss of Brad. As a fellow officer, K9 Handler and K9 Supervisor, we all know the hazards that this job entails and it makes it that much more painful when we lose a brother officer, friend, husband and father. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in Richmond and we at the Daly City Police Department send our heartfelt condolences..
Natasha Saelua Golden West and Vanden friend October 7, 2008
My deepest & heartfelt condolences to Brad's family, esp his parents, wife & children.  I remember Brad's electric smile from Golden West and Vanden High School; he was a great person, friendly and outgoing.  As a mother, as a classmate, I grieve for the loss of this wonderful person.  Brad - rest in peace & God be with your family.
Brad Dehler High School Football October 7, 2008

Brad is in my thoughts and prayers. I have many good memories of Brad as leader of our JV team then into Varsity ball. It doesn't surprise me that he was a decorated officer. He always had a vibrancy and that "Moody Smile". So many memories, the PW's, the games, the pranks. HE IS AN AMERICAN HERO. Thank you Brad.

God be with you Susan, and your little girls. My heart goes out to you and you are in our daily prayers.

Connie Medina Deputy Chief's Wife October 7, 2008
To the Family and Friends of Officer Brad Moody,
I wanted to express my deepest condolences.  I was very saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy that happened to Brad.  I did not know him, but from what I have heard from Ed, he was very dedicated and well respected.  RPD has lost a fine Officer.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.   May God comfort you and give you strength during this difficult time.
Lesley Kennedy-Tandy old classmate October 7, 2008
I send my sincerest condolences and prayers to the Moody family. Brad Moody was a jr high and high school classmate of mine. As a quiet observer during those years of my life, my conversation wasnt much with him, but he with my friends, and in passing as our lockers were in the same place. He was a person you noticed, yes for his smile, but in the way that he carried himself, strong, confident and positive. His confidence and positivity I think we all greatly admired and aspired to as an example. I thank him (and family) for those exemplary qualities, but also for going on to serve the community. God's blessings to you, Moody Family. Love, Lesley
