Dear Moody Family,
You don't know me, but I stood at attention and saluted your caravan next to my patrol car when you arrived at the funeral home in Vacaville on Tuesday. I saw a few of my friends from Richmond PD and the pain on their faces was obvious. My husband Hank Lopez worked at Richmond PD with Susan and Brad and fondly rememered talking with Brad about his Vanden High School days. He remembered his smile and caring attitutude.
I just wanted to offer my services, thoughts, prayers, and help to the family. I know that Brad's parents live here in Vacaville and Susan is close by. Please call me if I can be of any help to you at any time. I work day shift Sun-Wed. Work cell 707-975-6359. Our agency grieves with you and we would like to do anything we can to help. And I would like to do anything to help you.
I pray God comforts you and keeps you close to Him. You will be in my constant prayers.

I didn't know Brad. I didn't know any of his family. I'm just a 20 year old kid from Vacaville, Ca. I read this, and I started to sob. From what I've read the past 50 minutes, Brad was and still is an amazing person, and he presense will forever be felt on this earth. You don't realize how much you absoultly love something until it's gone. I will pray for your family. as will so many others. You need to to smile and be so happy for what Brad was and what he accomplished. You are all in my hearts forever.
"For I know the plans I have you for you declares the Lord; plans to proseper you and not to ahrm you. Plans for a hope and a future". Jerimiah 29:11.
God is working through all of this. God will comfort you and hold you in His arms in this dire time of need.
Much, much love and grace to you and your family, and to everyone who was lucky enough to know Bradley Alan Moody. I wish I was.
-Sincereley,
Nicholas Henry.

Althought I did not know this fine officer from what I have read he must have been not only an outstanding Police Officer but a great friend and father combined. I made it through 25 years of law enforcement and God blessed me and watched over me through out my career. Now God has a new helper to watch over the hundreds of thousands of other fine officers who are risking their lives on a daliy basis to protect their communitys. My deepest condolences go out to Brads family. I pray that God will comfort you in this very sad time and that you can be at peace knowing he is in a safe place watching over you. God bless all of your family.

My heart goes out to the Moody family. I never had the honor to meet Brad, but my husband was lucky enough to know him. I heard so many stories of what a great genuine man he was. My husband spoke so fondly of him, I told him to take a picture just so that I can put a face to the name. I am sad that this is how I can put a face to the name. A gorgeous face must I say. Though it is such a hard time for many, it is uplifting that you have donated your organs and helped saved another life. You are truley a hero. Rest in Peace Brad. May God bless your family.
