Even though I didn't know Brad very well myself, through Steve I felt as if he was one of our closest friends. Steve talked so highly of Brad almost on a daily basis. Susan always made me feel welcome from the first time I met her. At the party she threw when Brad became a K9 officer to a few weeks ago when Steve and I were looking at a home across the street, we felt that same warmness and friendship. We had a connection from the start with our love of Disneyland. I can't imagine what you are feeling and going through right now Susan, but know that you can count on us as friends and neighbors for anything you need.
-Our thoughts and prayers are with you
Love,
Holly

As I looked at this site for you Brad it has come apparent that you were an outstanding Police Officer and man. It is Officer's like you that encourages kids to grow up and became Police Officers, one who loves the job, and the joy it brings to you when that person says "Thank you", either verbally or with thier eyes. Though I only knew you a short time, I knew that you would succeed in the Richmond Police Dept. It is with great emotion and heavy heart that I say, God Bless you and your family. I know God has a special place for you on his Police Department. You will not be forgotten.

Brad, we never knew each other and did not work together, but still we were brothers. On behalf of the Keizer Police Department K9 Unit, our condolences go out to the family.
To the family and department,
A friend of mine gave me the sad news of Brad's passing. At the time, the Oregon Police Canine Association was having its annual conference. There were 119 dog teams from across Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. We held a moment of silence for the family and for the Richmond Police Department.

Susan, I don't know if you remember me, but I met you at the Gold Canyon meeting at Shawna's house. I remember you talking about how your husband was a Richmond police officer.
I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your heartbreaking loss. You and your family have been in my prayers since I heard the news. I will continue to pray as I know the days ahead will be extremely difficult.
Much love...
